Dance is a form of physical expression through movement. It is used to express emotions, tell stories, and celebrate different cultures. Dance can also be used to create an atmosphere of joy and celebration. It involves using the body to move in rhythm to music, and can be done solo, in pairs, or as part of a larger group. Different cultures have their own unique styles of dance, and many dances have been passed down through generations. There are different types of dancing styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Hip-hop, Modern, Latin, Folk and many more that we will be talking about all through this blog.

Dance has values that is acknowledged by both the performers and the observers from with the same culture and believes. It can be free style or guided by a choreography. Earliest uses of structured dances was introduced in religious celebration in Indian and Egypt. Dance was used for ceremonial and religious purposes, and has been used throughout history as a way of expressing emotions, telling stories, and celebrating different cultures. In the 20th century, modern dance forms such as hip hop, jazz, and salsa emerged. These forms of dance are still popular today, and are used to express emotions, tell stories, and celebrate different cultures.



Currently,
 dance is more commonly seen as an art form, and is practiced by people of all agees and backgrounds. Additionally, technology has had a huge impact on dance, with the advent of digital music and video production allowing dancers to create more complex and intricate routines. It is taking a different toll with the introduction of advanced social media platform such as Tiktok and Instagram that people share their dance moves through these platforms which is majorly based on views, likes and comments. Professional dance is regarded one of the most demanding physical abilities and sports.
